Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
A trauma-trained psychotherapist skilled in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Gottman Method Couple Techniques. Offering short and long-term adult (19+) individual, couple, marriage and workplace (EAP/EFAP) counselling therapy. Specialization in neuro-divergent people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
In addition to therapy, Savina offers psycho-education workshops and staff development training for agencies and community services providers. Learners will deepen their knowledge of how personal experiences affect their ability to work with specific clients and how client-worker relationships are the most critical part of client change. Evidence-based clinical skills will develop through case examples, group work and exploratory exercises. Employees, leaders and managers are encouraged to participate together for a cohesive and uniform experience.
Savina's extensive experience spans 30 years and has given her a unique insight into how biological, environmental and family systems can impact positively and negatively a persons self-worth, emotional well-being and mental health. Savina is a former foster parent, school counsellor and social worker. Today, she is a telehealth psychotherapist in private practice serving people throughout the Vancouver Regional District and Central British Columbia.
